me!
My name is Tim.

I live in the South-East suburbs of Naarm/Melbourne, Australia.
​
In my spare time, I enjoy making music, playing guitar, writing songs, and creating visual art.
​
My art-making began in childhood (as it always does ... right?). I grew up very curious about music production on DAWs, and had a lot of fun making beats in high school under the alias Tropiik.
​
Soon after I would begin singing and writing riffs on guitar, which melded with my production abilities on a project called Tim Zen.
​
Both of these projects have garnered airplay on popular Australian radio stations such as Triple J (107.5FM) and Triple R (102.7FM), as well as attention from EMI and independent management personnel.

Throughout my years of releasing and promoting music on digital platforms, I have created numerous cover arts and video clips - often blending my own photography and manipulating images using digital programs. This work can be viewed here.

From 2023-2024, I completed a Diploma of Audio at SAE University College - where I learnt fundamental skills in studio recording, live reinforcement, mixing, and mastering of audio. Throughout the course, I collaborated with other creatives - including musicians and filmmakers, to complete creative projects.
